Michael Gibson Bellamy

Michael Gibson Bellamy, 74, of Fort Cobb, OK, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 2, 2024. Mike was born on August 30, 1949, in Fort Cobb, OK to John & Bee (Deweese) Bellamy. He grew up and attended school in Fort Cobb, graduating in 1967. Mike married the love of his life Ruth Elaine Bellamy on January 22, 1978 , on Super Bowl Sunday, at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Cobb. Elaine and Mike made their home there in Fort Cobb, and welcomed 3 boys, Wesley, William, and James. He worked for Fort Cobb-Broxton School for 30+ years until his retirement. Mikes favorite thing was being around his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
